Based in Berlin, Philip Henze is a graduate of the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and member of the German Film Academy. Tala’vision gained international recognition, winning the Student Academy Award in Gold and being shortlisted for the 94th Academy Award. Additionally, his cinematography for the film was honored with the Silver Tadpole at CAMERIMAGE, the FIRST STEPS Michael Ballhaus Prize, and the German Camera Award. A Calling. From the Desert. To the Sea also earned a nomination for the German Camera Award.
